KFC Letterkenny

recently visited KFC Letterkenny and had a pretty solid experience overall. The food was exactly what you’d expect, crispy, flavourful chicken with that classic KFC taste. The place was clean and well-maintained. It’s a reliable spot if you’re craving comfort food and don’t want to wait too long.

Good experiences. Food was great and the service is excellent

I usually dine in here, and food/service are usually good. However, today I was picking up an order for collection and it was very disappointing. The person who placed the order for me to collect "checked me in" when I arrived (a process KFC requires for collection orders). No one was using the drive-thru when I arrived, so I pulled up to the speaker and asked if I could collect through the drive-thru window, since the order was already paid for. I was told they can't do collection at the drive-thru and that I would have to come in. A bit annoying, but fine. I parked the car and went in a couple minutes later. They hadn't even started the order yet, despite the screen above the till showing it was ready. So I then had to stand and wait around, even though the order was placed over 10 minutes prior to my arrival, but they don't seem to start the order until you do the check in. Another annoyance, but fine. They handed me the bag, and away I went. A long drive later, I arrived to the person who ordered the food and they checked the bag. The drink they ordered was not in the bag, even though it came with the meal deal and they were charged the additional €0.25 deposit on the bottle. I tried to ring the restaurant a few times over the course of an hour, but their phone line seems to be disconnected. Just a frustrating experience and there is no one I can speak to about it unless I drive all the way back.
